Last week, Marissa opened the newest addition to its park: a professionally designed skatepark.
The village hosted professional skateboarders from OC Ramps of Santa Ana, California for a demonstration to the community March 10.
The three pro skaters, Dave Bachinsky, Austin Coburn and Tom Tyer, wowed the crowd with tricks and signed autographs for kids.
OC Ramps, which designed and installed the park, is considered the nation’s top skatepark company.
The park features ramps, rails and boxes made of durable materials that can withstand years of use.
